Welcome to the grovemill chamois leathers.com!

Grove Mill Leathers are suppliers of top quality chamois & accessories. All our chamois come for the highest grade sheep hide from New Zealand. They are then treated using a traditional tanning technique using cod oils to help prevent rotting when wet & provide the cloth with its soft finish. Grove Mill can also provide you with a specially designed & affordable wringer to prolong the life of your chamois.

Grove Mill can provide you with essential advice concerning chamois care. We also have our very own Chamois wringer which can also help preserve your leather chamois for longer. With the right care you can make your chamois last a good while longer. Grove Mill has many clients writing in with their methods of keeping their chamois in the best possible condition.

Chamois leathers were originally made from deer hide that was tanned in the traditional way using cod oils. These days Chamois leather is made from the highest grade sheep hide but is still tanned in the traditional manner. This tanning process helps to stop chamois leathers from rotting when wet & provides the cloth with extra softness for a superior shine.

As the old saying goes... "you've tried the rest now try the best!" A.C.T.Products (UK) Ltd have sourced the finest quality chamois leathers in the world. These superior quality chamois leathers will be sold under the brand name GROVE MILL LEATHERS. The chamois leathers are manufactured from New Zealands highest grade raw materials. We pride ourselves on the fact that each skin is traditionally tanned with cod oil, of excellent weight and size and have no imperfections or holes whatsoever. "We are justifiably proud of the quality of these chamois leathers and we believe you will experience the best drying performance"

Daily telegraph review

Daily Telegraph
Just as we binned the last email telling us the chamois leather is dead we open the morning post and find a gorgeous chamois leather. Having used both synthetic and real chamois for years,we can confidently tell you there is nothing like the real thing. As far as this 5ft Grove Mill chamois is concerned, it is easily one of the softest and most absorbent we have ever used ,surpassing even the mighty Pittards chamois. In fact, it seems far too good to wash the car with!

For those who still like to do their own car washing. If, like me, you are always finding your chamois leathers fall to bits after not too long and you buy another which has imperfections, are of odd shapes and also don't seem to last either, Grove Mill have come up with a good alternative.
They import the finest chamois leather from New Zealand using only the best raw material, traditionally cod oil tanned and they don't have holes or imperfections to worry about which shortens the life of the chamois.
Having tried one for the first time it is super. Not only is it nice and smooth, it feels of an excellent quality, dries well, and most of all , it works well on the car with excellent water drying properties. I am well pleased and that is not an advertisement! The prices are good too!
